On January 2, a serious fire occurred in one of the dormitories in the Pervomaisky district of Bishkek, according to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The signal about the fire was received at 20:28. Five fire crews and one aerial ladder were dispatched to extinguish it.
By 21:23, the fire was localized. Currently, efforts to fully extinguish the fire are ongoing, with the affected area estimated to be about 250 square meters.
For safety reasons, 150 students were evacuated. Information about the injured is still being clarified.
