In Kyrgyzstan, 18 fires were registered in a day

Over the past 24 hours, 18 fires have occurred in Kyrgyzstan, for the extinguishing of which 26 fire brigades were mobilized. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) on February 5.

The most active situation was observed in the Jalal-Abad and Chui regions, where 4 fires occurred in each. In the Issyk-Kul region and Bishkek, 3 cases were registered, in the city of Osh — 2, and in the Batken and Osh regions — one each.

In Bishkek, on Intergelpo Street, a large fire broke out in a warehouse, resulting in the burning of conveyor belts, chips, empty containers, vegetable oils, sandwich panels, as well as changing rooms and a break room on the second floor. The area of the fire was 2000 square meters, and 4 fire crews continue to work at the scene.

Additionally, a fire occurred on the roof of a multi-story building in the Jal microdistrict, resulting in the burning of electrical wires and wooden beams over an area of 50 square meters.

Also, on Bargiyev Street in the Kalys-Ordo residential area, a modular house suffered damage to its internal plastic finishes, plastic door, wardrobe, two plastic windows, carpet, dishes, and clothing.

Currently, the causes of the fires are being investigated. Over the past day, one callout by the rescue service was also recorded.
