A deputy demands a review of funding
In the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Gulai Mashrapova drew attention to the problem of funding for a kindergarten for children with hearing impairments.
The kindergarten is located in the rural area of Ala-Tuu and accommodates about 60 children, who not only receive education but also live on its premises.
According to Mashrapova, under a government resolution adopted in 2008, only 28 soms are allocated per day for the nutrition of one child, which is an extremely insufficient amount for providing children with adequate nutrition.
She also noted that this issue has been discussed multiple times in the Jogorku Kenesh, and official inquiries have been sent to the Ministry of Finance, but a solution to the problem has yet to be found.
In her speech, the deputy urged the authorized representative of the president and the cabinet of ministers in parliament, Almasbek Abytov, to pay attention to this situation and take personal control of its resolution.
