
The poachers were identified using a thermal imager, which detected their movement near the shore. A response team was immediately dispatched, and the detainees did not have time to set up their nets.


According to the police, the detainees were 39-year-old M.K. from the Ak-Suu district and 38-year-old D.T. from Tyup. They had two synthetic fishing nets and an inflatable boat confiscated from them.
An investigative check is currently underway.
Law enforcement agencies emphasize that illegal fishing causes serious damage to the region's ecosystem and will be suppressed with particular severity.
