



























In the Batken region, on the territory of the Leilek district, employees of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic stopped the activities of an organized group engaged in smuggling consumer goods and household appliances across the state border with Tajikistan. This was reported by the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As part of the investigation of criminal cases initiated under Article 231, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic "Economic smuggling committed by an organized (transnational) group or as part of a criminal community," citizens of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and China were identified, who formed a transnational group for the illegal import of household appliances and consumer goods.
According to the information, 12 people have been detained, including a citizen of China, L.C.F., and Kyrgyz citizens I.A.I., T.A.K., T.U.M., A.K.K., O.Sh.K., S.A.K., U.u.M., G.U.T., S.I.A., T.T.A., T.D.E. The total value of the smuggled goods amounts to about 29 million soms.
All detainees have been placed in the investigative isolators of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, where investigative activities are ongoing.
