According to information from law enforcement agencies, a 38-year-old resident of the village of Zhany-Zher in the Leilek district, known as I. L., made an agreement with a citizen of a neighboring country named Abdumalik to smuggle medications through neutral territory for their further delivery to Osh.
As a result of the detention, I. L. was placed in a temporary detention facility, and a criminal case was initiated against him under Article 231 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic "Economic Smuggling." The investigation is ongoing.
