Former member of the banned religious movement in the Kyrgyz Republic renounced his beliefs

The press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Osh region reported that one of the residents of Aravan decided to withdraw from the religious group "Yakin Inkar," which is recognized as extremist in Kyrgyzstan.

According to information from the department, an operation called "Extremist" was conducted by officers of the service dealing with the fight against extremism and illegal migration in the Aravan District Department of Internal Affairs.

The aim of this operation was to identify individuals supporting extremist movements, as well as to prevent their activities.

As a result of the conducted measures, citizen K. A., born in 1984 and registered as a member of a banned religious movement, voluntarily renounced his former beliefs.
