A madrasa without permits has been discovered in the Chui region


Employees of the service for countering extremism and illegal migration of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region conducted an inspection in the village of Leninskoye in the Alamudun district, where a madrasa with a dormitory was found operating without the necessary permits.

This case was registered at the Internal Affairs Department of the Alamudun district. A forensic investigative group, along with representatives of the State Committee for National Security (UKGB) and the Chui regional administration, went to the scene.

During the inspection, significant volumes of religious literature, as well as mobile phones, computer equipment, and seals were seized. At the time of the inspection, about ten minors and teenagers were present in the madrasa, among whom two were foreign nationals, as well as two teachers.

All individuals found in the madrasa building were detained and taken to the Internal Affairs Department for necessary investigative actions. For the seized materials, forensic linguistic examinations have been appointed.

The investigation into this case is ongoing, and based on its results, an appropriate procedural decision will be made in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
