The woman was found in a ditch three kilometers from the hospital


The body of Natalia Gennadyevna Denisenko, a missing patient from the psychiatric hospital in the village of Indom, was discovered in a ditch located three kilometers from her last known location. This was reported by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.

According to the agency, on October 23, 2025, the director of the psychiatric dispensary reported to the Jaiyl district police about the missing patient. The woman, who had a first group disability, disappeared around 12:45 on the same day.

A forensic investigative group was dispatched to the scene.

“At that time, there were 250 patients in the institution. Due to construction work, severely ill patients were temporarily moved to the third floor. Staff noticed the absence of Denisenko N.G. around 12:30 during a walk in the area. On October 26, during the search, her body was found in a ditch to the west of the village of Indom. Upon external examination, no bodily injuries were found,” the Main Internal Affairs Directorate reported.

A forensic medical examination established that the cause of death was drowning and hypothermia.

“The preliminary investigation is ongoing, and forensic examinations have been appointed. A decision will be made in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic,” the police added.
