According to the provided information, a video appeared on Kyrgyz social networks showing a group of young people making statements that contribute to the incitement of tribalism and interethnic hatred.
“This incident has been registered in the First May District Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek, where a preliminary investigation has been initiated. During operational activities, officers from the Service for Counteracting Extremism and Illegal Migration detained R.N., I.B., T.A., O.R., and B.K., all born in 2006. A judicial linguistic examination has been appointed as part of the pre-trial proceedings, based on the results of which a legal assessment will be given to the actions of all those involved in this incident,” the statement said.
The Main Department of Internal Affairs emphasizes that strict measures will be applied to each offender in accordance with current legislation.
The police remind that incitement of hatred, tribalism, and any form of discrimination based on nationality or region are criminal offenses.
