A man was detained in Bishkek for threatening his neighbor with a firearm. This was reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District of the capital.
According to law enforcement agencies, the incident occurred on October 30 on Bazar Street. During the conflict, the neighbor allegedly fired two shots, according to the complainant.
An investigation confirmed the threats. The victim, known as E.B., filed a written statement indicating the aggressive behavior of the neighbor, who threatened him without cause and used foul language. According to him, the neighbor fired in his direction with a firearm, the make of which remains unknown.
As a result, a 51-year-old man named D.N., born in 1974, was detained. He was taken to the investigative department of the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department and then placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Internal Affairs Department in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 280 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. A hunting double-barreled shotgun of unknown make, pneumatic weapon, and two cartridges were seized from the scene of the incident. The investigation is currently ongoing.
