On October 30, at around 14:50, the police received a call from a resident of Bazarnaya Street. The man reported that his neighbor, while in a state of intoxication, had threatened him with violence and had already fired two shots.
Officers from the investigative-operational group of the Lenin Internal Affairs Department, including the head of the department, Azamat Baigaziev, were dispatched to the scene of the incident.
The victim informed law enforcement that his neighbor had begun to behave aggressively, insulting him with foul language and aiming a weapon in his direction.
In a video published by the press service, a man with a firearm can be seen barricaded in his house. The head of the Lenin Internal Affairs Department was able to negotiate with him and convince him to surrender.
A case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 280 ("Hooliganism") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. The suspect, born in 1974, has been identified as D.N. He was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the arrest, a hunting double-barreled shotgun of unknown make, a pneumatic weapon, and two cartridges were seized from him.
An investigation is currently underway.
