On October 29, the Chuy Regional Department of the Ministry of Nature received information about illegal hunting in the Ak-Suu Gorge.

According to the ministry, around 10:00 AM at the entrance to the gorge, near the Min-Tokum area, a certain individual, in a silver Toyota Avensis, shot a partridge and then headed into the mountains.

Department staff promptly went to the scene to verify the information. During the check, it turned out that the vehicle belonged to a foreman who was working on the construction of a hydroelectric power station in the area.
