On October 29, the regional department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision in the Chui region received information about illegal hunting in the Ak-Suu gorge, near the Min-Tokum area. It was reported that partridges were being shot from a silver Toyota Avensis in the forest area, after which the vehicle headed into the mountains.

In response to this information, department staff went to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle belonged to a foreman working on the construction of a hydroelectric power station in the area. In his explanation, he stated that he "simply gave someone a ride and dropped him off at that location."

The regional department sent a request to the Moscow police department to identify those involved in this incident and take appropriate measures in accordance with the law.
