Illegal Gravel Extraction and Poaching Discovered in Talas Region

The work to combat the illegal use of natural resources in the Talas region continues, as reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision.

On October 28, illegal extraction of sand and gravel mix was recorded in the Manas district, in the village of Semetey. A protocol was drawn up against M. E. B. under part 4 of Article 243 of the Code of Offenses, and he was fined 13,000 soms.

Additionally, on October 26, during a raid in the Kumushtak area, located in the Bakai-Ata district, inspectors in cooperation with staff from the Nature Protection Department discovered illegal fishing activities. K. A. T. was fined 10,000 soms based on part 1 of Article 261 of the Code of Offenses.

The Ministry of Natural Resources emphasized that there are legal consequences for illegal extraction of minerals, poaching, and other environmental offenses, urging citizens to comply with environmental protection requirements.
