
The work to prevent the illegal use of natural resources continues in the Talas region. Specialists from the regional office of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision are actively engaged in this task.
On October 28, 2025, illegal extraction of sand and gravel mix was recorded in the village of Semetey in the Manas district. As a result of the inspection, a protocol was drawn up against citizen M.E.B., who is now required to pay a fine of 13,000 soms under part 4 of article 243 of the Code of Offenses.
Additionally, on October 26, 2025, in the Kümüştak area of the Baкай-Ata district, inspectors discovered illegal fishing during a raid. Citizen K.A.T. was fined 10,000 soms according to part 1 of article 261 of the Code of Offenses.
The agency emphasized that such raids are conducted regularly to prevent illegal extraction of mineral resources and poaching, which pose a serious threat to the ecosystem.
The Environmental and Technical Supervision Service reminds citizens of the necessity to strictly adhere to environmental protection legislation, as illegal resource extraction and fishing entail administrative liability in accordance with current legislation.
