
According to information from the press service of the Main Directorate for Road Traffic Safety (GUOBDD), on October 28, 2025, at 18:40, a driver of a FAW truck was detained at the Ak-Tilek border crossing on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border while under the influence of alcohol.
GUOBDD officers stopped the vehicle after the driver violated rules while passing through the control zone.
As a result of the inspection, it was established that the man was driving the vehicle while intoxicated. Relevant administrative protocols were drawn up against him, and the truck was placed in a detention lot.
By court decision, the driver was deprived of the right to operate vehicles for a period of one year.
The GUOBDD press service emphasized that such measures and checks at border points are carried out regularly to enhance road traffic safety and prevent accidents.
