More than three thousand motorists drove without licenses
From October 20 to 26, the Main Department of Road Traffic Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan recorded 24,270 violations of traffic rules.
According to the department's information, among the identified violations:
3,117 cases — driving without necessary documents;
399 cases — driving under the influence of alcohol;
227 cases — illegal tinting of vehicle windows;
1,985 cases — traffic violations involving pedestrians;
3,186 cases — violations of vehicle operation rules;
43 cases — auto hooliganism;
3,649 cases — speeding;
13 cases — driving with false license plates;
12,651 cases — other types of traffic rule violations.
In addition, during the specified period, 3,513 vehicles were placed in impound lots.
The Main Department of Road Traffic Safety urges both drivers and pedestrians to adhere to traffic rules and emphasizes that safety on the roads depends on the responsibility of each participant in road traffic.
