In Bishkek, a drunk driver, fleeing from a chase, jumped out of the car and leaped into the BChK

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, an incident occurred involving a drunk driver who, trying to avoid arrest, jumped out of the car and into the BChK canal. This was reported by the press service of the Patrol Police Department (UPSM).

According to the agency, a call was received on the hotline 102 about a driver who was intoxicated behind the wheel.

“UPSM officers began a pursuit. When the driver stopped his vehicle, he attempted to escape by jumping into the canal. However, the offender was soon apprehended. He was taken to the duty station for further investigation,” the statement said.
