In the Call Center Kaktus.media, there are inquiries from citizens regarding the lack of public transport.

- The exit from the "Djal" microdistrict and the return back is challenging, as there are very few buses No. 14 on the route. Although it was promised to launch electric buses, they have not yet been put into operation. Our area is densely populated, with many schoolchildren, students, and workers, including the "Manas" University and several private and municipal schools, which exacerbates the need for public transport. We ask the relevant authorities to pay attention to this issue.

- Problems with public transport are also observed in the "Ak-Orgo" residential area. The buses that do run are overcrowded, making trips impossible. For example, it is very difficult to get on bus No. 30. In the morning, if you leave very early, you can manage to leave, but in the evening, travel time can sometimes take 2.5-3 hours.

Comment from the City Hall

The press service of the Bishkek City Hall reports that according to the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkek City Transport," 95 new buses are expected to arrive by the end of 2025, and 75 electric buses will be put into operation on the routes in the near future.

“The municipal enterprise also intends to open additional bus lines and strengthen existing routes with new vehicles,” the official statement says.
