According to information received by the Internal Affairs Department of the Aitmatov district, a 49-year-old woman filed a complaint about fraudulent activity.
She reported that on September 15, 2025, an unknown person called her, introducing himself as a bank employee, and claiming that she had become a victim of fraudulent actions, gained her trust.
As a result, he requested an SMS code that had come to her mobile phone and, using this information, took out several loans:
50,000 soms through "MBank,"
48,000 soms through "Aiyl Bank,"
and 15,000 soms through "Kompanion Bank."
The funds obtained were transferred by the fraudster to an unknown account.
Based on this incident, the investigative department of the Aitmatov District Internal Affairs Department initiated a criminal case under Article 209-1 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan, which pertains to "Intentional transfer or sale of electronic payment means, virtual wallets, and SIM cards to third parties."
As a result of operational measures taken, the suspect, known as K.B., born in 2006, was detained.
According to the press service, he was placed in a temporary detention facility on October 28.
Investigative actions are ongoing.
