According to the agency, in the summer of 2026, it was planned to hold sports games called *"I am a champion"*. To prepare for this event, the regional Department of Physical Culture and Sports was allocated 17 million 500 thousand soms from the budget.
However, a large portion of these funds - 12 million soms - was used by officials of GAFKiS under the CM KR to purchase a residential house, which was intended to be converted into an administrative building for the regional Department of Physical Culture and Sports.
With the assistance of the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the KR N.N.E., the cost of this property was inflated to 12 million 343 thousand soms. However, during an independent examination, it was established that the actual market value of the house is about 7 million soms.
Thus, the damage caused to the interests of the state amounted to more than 4 million soms.
In connection with this fact, the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the KR N.N.E., the head of the GAFKiS department under the CM KR B.Z.B., and the former Deputy Governor of the Talas region B.N.A. were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Talas city police.
Currently, investigative actions are being carried out in the criminal case to identify and hold accountable other individuals involved in this matter.
