According to the State Agency for Sports, the main goal of this competition is to develop a unique and expressive design that reflects national traditions, symbolism, and the spirit of the World Nomad Games, while also meeting modern standards of comfort and solemnity.
The competition is open to designers, fashion designers, costume artists, and creative teams with their own original developments.
The main requirements for the design are:
- The outfit must include a headpiece, outerwear, trousers (for men), and a dress (for women);
- The style should be national, incorporating elements of the official symbolism of the VI World Nomad Games;
- Materials — preference for natural ones (cotton, wool, linen, silk);
- Each application must include a budget for the production of one outfit.
Applications are accepted until November 17, 2025. The competition will take place in two stages: first, the selection of sketches, followed by the presentation of finished samples for men's and women's outfits.
Prizes for the winners:
- 1st place — 150,000 soms;
- 2nd place — 100,000 soms;
- 3rd place — 80,000 soms.
The works recognized as the best may be used at official events of the VI World Nomad Games. All copyright for the selected projects will be transferred to the Directorate for National Sports.
