
From October 18 to December 1, an inclusive Spartakiad is taking place in Bishkek, aimed at involving people with disabilities in sports events. The organizer is the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth Policy of the city administration.
The Spartakiad includes 10 sports, including chess, checkers, table tennis, mini-football, volleyball, arm wrestling, powerlifting, Greco-Roman wrestling, WT taekwondo, and swimming. Athletes of all ages are participating: adults, juniors, and children.
On October 23, chess competitions for people with hearing and vision impairments were held at the Sports School for Martial Arts. A total of 69 athletes participated in the tournament.

The organizers emphasize that the goal of the Spartakiad is to support inclusive sports, improve the health of participants, and create equal opportunities for all.
