In the village of Tash-Dobo, the Open Championship of the S.D. Jumalazarov Youth Sports School was held, which was dedicated to the Day of Open Doors. As part of this event, the championship of the Kyrgyz Republic also took place, with athletes from various age categories participating — from 2008 and older to 2013 and younger.
According to the organizers, 87 athletes from children's and youth sports schools in the Chui and Naryn regions participated in the competitions. Of these, 45 represented the biathlon department of the S.D. Jumalazarov Youth Sports School.
The list of winners is as follows:
4 km Sprint (boys, born in 2008 and older): first place was taken by Eldar Kadyrov, second — Arthur Saparbekov, third — Nurislam Jumaliev.
3 km Sprint (boys, born in 2009–2010): Alisher Belekov — 2nd place, Viktor Novikov — 3rd place.
2 km Sprint (boys, born in 2011–2012): first place went to Said Jumaliev, second — Timur Chokaev.
1 km Sprint (boys, born in 2013 and younger): third place went to Erbol Maksatov.
3 km Sprint (girls, born in 2008 and older): first place went to Bakhiana Talaibekova, second — Diana Talaibekova.
3 km Sprint (girls, born in 2009–2010): first place was taken by Akylai Kazieva.
2 km Sprint (girls, born in 2011–2012): first place went to Ailin Toktosunova.
1 km Sprint (girls, born in 2013 and younger): second place went to Kanikei Talaibekova.
The organizers noted that the event was held at a high level and served as excellent preparation for the young biathletes ahead of the upcoming winter season.
