Event for the Guinness World Records
1.5-ton Beshbarmak and 117-meter Chuchuk for the Guinness World Records
On March 11, nearly 1.5 tons of beshbarmak and a 117-meter chuchuk were prepared in Bishkek. This required the meat of nine horses. The organizers hope that this event will be included in the Guinness World Records.
Forty chefs and thirty assistants were involved in the cooking. Beshbarmak was made from 650 kilograms of finely chopped meat and 700 kilograms of dough. The finished dish weighed 1,464 kilograms. Beshbarmak was distributed to the guests of the event and those in need.
As part of the event for preparing a ton of beshbarmak, a meat cutting competition was held, reported organizer Tynchtyk Altymyshev.
The first place was taken by residents of the village of Kazybek in the Naryn region, the second by journalists, and the third by a team from the Chui region.
