The Leading Hotels of the World follow the latest sanitary regulations

Currently, the association The Leading Hotels of the World groups more than 400 elegant hotels located in various countries around the world. After exiting quarantine, all hotels in the network have implemented new sanitary safety standards to ensure that guests feel extremely comfortable and do not worry about their well-being.

In developing the new cleaning standards for guest rooms and public areas, Leading Hotels collaborated with renowned professionals in the field of sanitary safety, such as ProHealth Environmental and RemoteMD. Together with these professionals, a new cleanliness standard was developed, named GBAC STAR. It outlines 20 criteria that hotel staff must follow to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas, and the new rules also pertain to documentation procedures.

This standard will be adhered to in all Leading Hotels. All hotels will undergo regular audits, during which specialists will evaluate ten new operational criteria. From now on, hotels must maintain special documentation that proves the process of monitoring the body temperature of guests and staff.

In all public areas and guest rooms, containers with a special disinfectant solution must be available. These will also be installed in staff changing rooms, in all restrooms, near entrances, and in all public zones. According to the latest guidelines, the arrangement of furniture in public areas must now also comply with the new standards.

All furniture must be arranged in such a way as to not obstruct compliance with widely recognized social distancing norms. To help guests and staff adapt to the new rules, special markings have been placed on the floors in public areas. One of the key steps in implementing the program will be maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms.

From now on, hotel staff will use special disinfectants for cleaning rooms, with particular attention given to surfaces that guests touch more frequently than usual. Despite this abundance of innovations, The Leading Hotels of the World continue to offer their visitors the maximum range of services for organizing a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
