The Directorate for National Sports under the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports has initiated a competition aimed at creating a design for the ceremonial uniforms for participants of the parade opening the VI World Nomad Games.
Competition Goals
The main task is to identify a unique and aesthetically appealing design that reflects national traditions, symbolism, and the spirit of these world games, while also meeting modern standards of comfort and solemnity.
Who Can Participate
Designers, fashion designers, costume artists, and creative teams with original designs can participate in the competition.
Requirements for Submissions
- A complete set of ceremonial uniform must be presented, including headgear, outerwear, trousers for men, and dresses for women;
- The outfit should be made in a national style and include elements of the official symbolism of the VI World Nomad Games (in accordance with the approved Brand Book);
- The materials used should be predominantly natural (cotton, wool, linen, silk), comfortable, and safe to wear;
- Each submission must be accompanied by a cost calculation for materials and services for one set.
The application submission period will last until November 17, 2025;
The competition will take place in two stages:
1. Preliminary - submission of sketches and concept descriptions.
2. Final - presentation of finished samples of men's and women's outfits.
Submissions can be made in electronic format and on paper.
Evaluation Criteria
- Originality of the idea and artistic execution;
- Compliance with the theme and conditions of the competition;
- Quality of materials and workmanship;
- Aesthetic appeal and coherence of the image.
The winners of the competition will receive certificates and cash prizes:
1st place - 150,000 som;
2nd place - 100,000 som;
3rd place - 80,000 som.
The best works may be recommended for use at official events of the VI World Nomad Games. All copyright for selected works will be transferred to the Directorate for National Sports.
