69-year-old retired police major general took 3rd place in the marathon in Kazakhstan, setting a personal record

At the international marathon in Kazakhstan, retired Major General of Police Kemelbek Kiyazov finished third.

On October 26, the traditional Turkistan marathon took place in Turkestan.

Kiyazov, who is 69 years old, completed the marathon distance of 42 kilometers and 195 meters in 3 hours, 46 minutes, and 2 seconds, marking a personal achievement for him.

In his age category of 60-69 years, the Kyrgyzstani took 3rd place among all participants.

In 2024, Kiyazov participated in the international marathon in Antalya (Turkey). He ran 10 km and finished in 43 minutes and 33 seconds, which allowed him to meet the standard for the title of "Master of Sports."
