"The first crossing cost 32-34 million soms"
The mayor of Kyrgyzstan's capital, Aibek Junushaliev, stated in an interview with the "Kabar" agency that more than 20 underground crossings will be constructed in Bishkek.
He noted that the project is currently in the experimental stage, where various aspects are being evaluated, including complexity, volume, and cost of work, which is necessary for further budget planning.
The official also added: "At the moment, we are constructing four crossings on Aitmatov Avenue. We are determining the cost of the project, and the first one cost in the range of 32-34 million soms. Once the cost is finalized, we will proceed to the construction of the remaining crossings," the mayor clarified.
