207 young athletes from different corners of the Chui region participated in the tournament.
As a result of the competition, two boxers from Kara-Balta became winners:
Kurmanbekov Amirkhan — weight category 80 kg;
Odabashov Salim — weight category 80 kg.
Both athletes train under the guidance of Ruslan Baisariev. They will represent the Chui region at the national championship, which will be held from January 26 to 31 in Bishkek.
In addition, three girls from Kara-Balta will compete in the national championship: Mamataeva Farzona (48 kg), Abdyssalamova Sezim (52 kg), and Damirbekova Zhibek (54 kg). All of them are also students of coach R. Baisariev.
