In the village of Zhylygyn, located in the Aksy district of the Jalal-Abad region, construction is underway for a school named after M. Barpiev.

According to information from the Ministry of Construction, the project is being financed from the republican budget, and the cost of the tender for the work amounts to 80 million soms.

The new school will be three stories high and will accommodate 225 students. Inside the building, there will be classrooms, a laboratory, a library, a medical room, as well as vocational training rooms for both boys and girls.

Currently, the builders have already begun constructing the second floor.

The Ministry of Construction noted that the old school, built in 2012 using lightweight structures, was designed for a service life of 12 years. Currently, 368 children are studying there.
