Dennis Wolf - a native of Kyrgyzstan

Strangely enough, the athlete Dennis Wolf, competing under the German flag, can be considered a "local guy" by the residents of the CIS. The fact is that this famous bodybuilder was born in the city of Tokmok (Kyrgyzstan) in 1978. His father is from Kazakhstan, and his mother belongs to the so-called Russian Germans. Until the age of 9, Dennis lived with his family in Semipalatinsk, and later moved to the Kemerovo region, where he lived for another 3 years. Then his mother insisted on moving to Germany, to her homeland, where the family stayed. Thus, Dennis Wolf is partly Russian and even speaks Russian fluently.

Even as a child, Dennis was seriously interested in sports. He always had a couple of dumbbells at home and trained with them daily. Additionally, at the age of 16, he began attending a gym in Mergele. Thanks to his excellent genetics, the guy progressed very quickly, and his muscles grew at a geometric rate. Around the age of 18, he began to seriously study bodybuilding. Initially, this involved learning the specifics of the sport, sports diets, and necessary exercises. A little later, his older sports peers, seeing their protégé's successes, eagerly shared their experiences and helped Dennis in every way. Moreover, Wolf consulted with well-known German bodybuilders, listened to their lectures, and tried to absorb every word.

His first competition took place in 1999 when Dennis was barely 21 years old. On top of everything, this meant that he had to compete not with juniors, but with adult men. However, Wolf held his own, and his intense training over the past few years paid off, earning him 4th place. Wolf himself describes this period of his life as follows: "For me, it was my first victory; I made it to the final five and even took 4th place instead of 5th!".

In 2003, Dennis Wolf won the German Championship and began to seriously consider the status of a professional bodybuilder. However, his professional career only began with a victory at the amateur world championship in China in 2005. It was then that this guy was truly appreciated, and his aspirations for the heights of bodybuilding found solid ground.

Wolf's latest significant achievement is winning the 2011 Australia Grand Prix.

Now, Dennis is not involved in anything other than bodybuilding. According to him, he plans to open some kind of business in the future, but for now, he is entirely devoted to training. His wife Katya accompanies him on all his trips. She considers her husband the ideal man, and they have been getting along wonderfully for over 7 years, raising their daughter Samantha together.
