

Akyil Toktobaev, the Minister of Natural Resources, conducted a working trip to the Osh region, focusing on biodiversity conservation, the organization of nature parks, and ensuring environmental safety. This information was provided by the ministry.
During his visit, he explored projects in the state nature parks "Kara-Shoro" and "Kulun-Ata," which are being implemented with the support of the World Bank. These initiatives aim to protect ecosystems and develop the ecological potential of the region. In the "Kulun-Ata" park, the minister also visited a museum showcasing scientific research and unique exhibits.
The minister emphasized the importance of the work of staff in the field of nature conservation and instructed to promptly address a number of issues identified during inspections.
Additionally, special attention was given to the inspection of the coal enrichment plant "Ilon Osh," located in the Uzgen district. The head of the ministry reminded of the necessity for strict adherence to environmental norms and safety standards.
Together with the district akim Kanybek Apbasov, the minister also inspected the construction of wastewater treatment facilities, noting their key role in improving sanitary conditions and the quality of life for local residents.
