In the First May District of Bishkek, over 400 million soms are planned to be allocated for the development of road infrastructure. The city administration has presented a project for public discussion that covers the years from 2026 to 2030 and includes asphalt paving and the construction of sidewalks.

After the integration of new residential areas into the city, there arose a need to improve the transport network in these regions.

In the "Maevka" residential area, it is planned to build 10.35 kilometers of roads by 2030, as well as to update the streets of Molodaya Gvardiya, Teplichnaya, Ala-Archa, Sel'skaya, Sovkhoznaya, Zhanilyk, and Son-Kol.

For the residential areas of "Novopavlovka," "Kut," and "Uchkyn-2," the construction of central streets with sidewalks is planned at a cost of 73 million soms. In 2026, a road parallel to the Vasilievsky tract costing 32 million soms will also be built.

In the "Zhenish" residential area, the streets Prigorodnaya, Okrainaya, and Zhashtyk-2 will be asphalted.

Additionally, in the "Tendik" residential area, it is planned to construct an above-ground pedestrian crossing at the intersection with the Northern bypass road, for which 54 million soms have been allocated.

Traffic lights will be installed at several updated intersections.
