The new road will be located in the eastern part of the capital, extending beyond the densely populated areas. The length of the Eastern Bypass Road will be 16 kilometers. The project includes the creation of five major transport interchanges and an elevated bridge in the Kant area.
Additionally, the project involves the reconstruction and construction of adjacent main streets, including:
- Leo Tolstoy Street - from Auezov Street to the Eastern Bypass (5.7 km);
- Akhunbaev Street - from Auezov Street to the Eastern Bypass (3 km);
- Sukhbaatar Street - from Auezov Street to the Eastern Bypass (2 km);
- Zhukejeva-Pudovkina Street - from A. Tokombaev Street to Imanaliev Street (2.2 km);
- Imanaliev Street - from Zhukejeva-Pudovkina Street to April 7 Street (3 km).

Thus, the total length of all new and updated roads will amount to 32 kilometers in conjunction with the Eastern Bypass Road.
Officials, including Aibek Junushaliev, were informed about the progress of work on the section of Zhukejeva-Pudovkina Street from A. Tokombaev Street to Imanaliev Street. About 100 units of special construction equipment are already involved at the site.
The Eastern Bypass Road is intended to be a strategically important project that will significantly improve the transport situation in Bishkek in the future and enhance the city's status as a regional transport hub.
