According to a statement from the press service of the city hall, the cold water shutdown in some parts of Bishkek is scheduled for December 25 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The reason for the temporary interruption of water supply is emergency work on a 400-millimeter diameter water main located on Kureneev Street.
The area affected by the shutdown will include residential houses, as well as educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and other social objects.
The territory where water supply will be stopped is limited by the following streets:
- Turusbekov Street from Jibek Jolu Avenue to Frunze Street;
- Dzerzhinsky and Bayalinov Streets to the Ala-Archa River and Jibek Jolu Avenue.
The municipal enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal" strongly recommends that residents and organizations take care of their drinking water supplies in advance.
