In Sary-Özön, located in the Sokuluk district of the Chui region, a notable transaction involving livestock took place. A lamb, not yet a year old, was sold for 400,000 soms.

Kasein Tolonov, a local livestock breeder and witness to the transaction, told Turmush that the trade occurred last Sunday, March 15. The seller initially valued the animal at 500,000 soms, but after a brief negotiation, the final price of the deal was slightly over 400,000 soms. "I was passing by and accidentally saw this transaction, which I managed to record on video. I clearly heard the exact amount of 400,000 soms, while the other details were left off-camera. The breed of the ram was not specified," noted Tolonov.

On the same day, another breeding ram of the Arashan breed was also sold at this market for 250,000 soms.

According to information provided by local traders, prices for livestock vary depending on breed and characteristics:

- for ordinary (farm) breeds — from 14,000 to 30,000 soms;

- Arashan breed — prices start from 50,000 soms and above.

Livestock breeders note that interest in selective breeds remains high, as evidenced by regular transactions in the so-called "premium segment" of the region's livestock market.
