According to the press service of the regional police, the event was chaired by the head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Osh region, Nurlanbek Burkanov. The meeting was also attended by the chairman of the Veterans Council, Kursanbek Kamchiev, as well as heads of district internal affairs departments, service chiefs, and units.
During the meeting, the head of the Internal Affairs Department highlighted those employees who demonstrated high dedication to their duties and achieved significant results throughout 2025. They were awarded the title of "Best in Profession" and received vouchers for rest on behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In addition, valuable gifts were given to the chairpersons of the Veterans Councils who demonstrated the best results. Specifically, the following places were awarded in the region:
- 1st place — Veterans Council of the Aravan District Internal Affairs Department,
- 2nd place — Veterans Council of the Uzgen District Internal Affairs Department,
- 3rd place — Veterans Council of the Chon-Alai District Internal Affairs Department.
The winners were awarded Honorary Certificates from the Internal Affairs Department of the Osh region, award ribbons, and monetary prizes.
During the continuation of the meeting, the results of operational and service activities for the year were discussed, highlighting the successes achieved and shortcomings.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the head of the regional police outlined key areas of work and formulated specific tasks for the leaders.
Among the main tasks were: quality and timely consideration of citizens' appeals, strengthening public trust, preventing negative situations, solving crimes, combating cybercrime, controlling illegal drug trafficking, seizing weapons, identifying extremist activities, enhancing the professional level of employees, improving service, continuing digitalization, as well as preventing domestic violence and violence against children.
It was also emphasized that disciplinary measures would be applied to leaders who committed service violations, and employees involved in illegal activities, including corruption, would face severe consequences.
