The kindergarten is located in a building that previously served as the "Kerben" hotel and has been returned to the jurisdiction of the mayor's office.
This academic year, a quota for 146 places for children has been allocated. Currently, the kindergarten operates with four groups and is designed to accommodate a total of 240 children. In the future, there are plans to continue improving conditions for the children.
As previously mentioned, on November 24, 2025, local authorities in Talas inspected the process of relocating kindergarten No. 1 "Altyn Balalyk" to the building of the "Kerben" hotel.
The operation of the kindergarten was suspended because its previous building was deemed unsafe.
During this time, renovation work was being carried out on the new premises for the kindergarten, and city authorities demanded to expedite the completion of this work.
Previously, 150 children were raised in "Altyn Balalyk," and the new building is planned to create conditions for more than 200 students.
