On the territory related to the airport in Osh, the removal of plane trees (chynars) that are in an emergency state is planned. This decision was announced by representatives of the municipal enterprise "Osh Improvement and Greenery Management Combine."

According to the combine, there are over 230 chynars growing along the road leading to the airport: about 110 trees on one side and approximately 120 on the other. "The complete destruction of all trees is not the goal. Only those specimens that are in unsatisfactory condition are subject to removal: those with cut tops, not producing shoots, with damaged trunks and internal rot. New chynar saplings will be planted in their place. Additionally, the trees that remain will be tidied up and shaped, and new saplings will be planted in the free areas," the combine reported.

On January 21, the mayor of Osh region, Zhenishbek Toktorbaev, along with representatives of relevant services, visited the section of the road that falls under the territorial management of "Manas-Ata." During the visit, instructions were given to improve the irrigation infrastructure along the road and to tidy up the green spaces: to remove rotten and unsuitable trees and replace them with new saplings.
