Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Head of the Presidential Administration, has handed over 10 Perkins Brailler Classic machines for the Braille system to a specialized boarding school in Bishkek for blind and visually impaired children.

It is worth noting that during his visit to this educational institution in September last year, the need for such writing machines for teaching the Braille system was identified.

From the reserve fund of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, over 3 million soms were allocated for the purchase of 20 machines, 10 of which were transferred to the school in Bishkek, while the remaining 10 will be given to the Special General Education Boarding School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Osh.

The Perkins Brailler Classic models are a key tool in the educational process, as they promote systematic and practical teaching of Braille writing. These machines help children develop independence skills, fine motor skills, and concentration, while also simplifying the teaching process for educators, improving the overall quality of education and integrating correctional, educational, and social work into a unified approach.

During the visit, important issues regarding the operation of the institution were also discussed.
