Bishkek CHPP Generates 10,925 Thousand kWh of Electricity in a Day

According to the data from the city administration, the CHP provides a stable supply of heat and electricity for the capital's consumers. Currently, the average capacity of the power plant is 455 MW, and the daily production of thermal energy is 9,285 thousand Gcal. At the same time, the production of electrical energy is 10,925 thousand kWh, and fuel consumption amounts to 7,831 thousand tons of coal and 368 thousand nm³ of gas.

There are 15 boiler units and 7 turbo units with cross connections operating at the CHP, as well as two power blocks — No. 3 and No. 4. Currently, 9 boiler units and 4 turbo units with cross connections are in operation, and both power blocks are actively working.

As part of the preparations for the winter season of 2025/2026, the supply of 1.4 million tons of coal is planned to ensure the reliability of electricity supply. The fuel supply schedule is set until the end of the heating season.

As of February 2, 2026, the coal stock at the CHP warehouse is 204,537 thousand tons, which guarantees the reliable operation of the station throughout the current heating period.

The Bishkek CHP continues its operations, taking all necessary measures to ensure stable energy supply for both the population and the enterprises of the city.
