He noted that sharp critical remarks directed at deputies are unacceptable.
“Deputies represent the people, and they have the opportunity to voice important issues. Voters entrusted them with a mandate for five years for this purpose. We support the executive authorities and adopt necessary legislation, so deputies also deserve respect from the executive branch. Our main task is to work for the benefit of the people, striving for friendship and prosperity. I hope that the executive power will take our words into account. The parliament has its own functions, and we carry them out in accordance with our responsibilities,” the speaker added.
It should be noted that the day before, President Sadyr Japarov criticized some deputies who oppose extending the training period for drivers, stating that in his two terms in the Jogorku Kenesh, he did not see himself as a populist.
