Sadyr Japarov met with the U.S. Special Envoy and American businessmen in Bishkek

Today, February 4, President Sadyr Japarov met with Sergio Gor, the U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, as well as representatives of American business. The negotiations took place at the "Yntymak Ordo" residence.

During the meeting, Japarov emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic adheres to a multi-vector foreign policy and actively seeks to develop cooperation with the United States. The President noted that Kyrgyzstan is open to foreign investments and provides equal conditions for all entrepreneurs, regardless of their country of origin.

He also mentioned that the delegation of American businessmen arriving in Bishkek is the largest in the history of relations between Kyrgyzstan and the U.S. The head of state highlighted the important role of the U.S.-Kyrgyz Business Council and expressed Kyrgyzstan's readiness to be a reliable partner for U.S. businesses in the region.

Sergio Gor, for his part, noted the significant potential of Kyrgyzstan and confirmed the U.S. government's readiness to expand support for investment projects. He emphasized that this meeting could mark the beginning of a new phase in joint work.

Representatives from companies such as Boeing, Coca-Cola Company, Franklin Templeton, GE Healthcare, and Mooney Group also participated in the discussions.

As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in strengthening the Kyrgyz-American economic dialogue and developing practical cooperation between the governmental and business structures of the two countries.
