A new experimental method for training drivers in Kyrgyzstan has been proposed by President Sadyr Japarov. As reported by the President's Chief of Staff Kanbek Tumanbaev, cadets who demonstrate outstanding academic results will be granted the right to take the driving test after four months of training, significantly reducing the standard training period.
However, to obtain this privilege, they must demonstrate excellent driving skills. Graduates of this "accelerated course" will be issued temporary licenses for one year. If they do not commit serious traffic violations or become involved in accidents during this period, their temporary licenses will be replaced with permanent ones. Otherwise, the driver's license will be revoked, and the violator will be sent for additional training at a state driving school for the remaining six months.
