The Minister expressed interest in further developing cooperation in the areas of trade, economy, investment, and cultural exchanges.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier, in turn, highly appreciated the efforts to strengthen security and stability in the region, highlighting its energy, trade, and transport potential. The President of Germany also reaffirmed his commitment to developing interaction with Central Asia and recalled his visit to the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing the importance of joint work on climate change issues and the problem of glacier melting.
