The wooden poles scheduled for replacement were installed in the 1960s-70s and have already significantly exceeded their service life.
The replacement work will be carried out in the following districts:
- Ak-Suu Electric Networks – 258 poles,
- Karakol Electric Networks – 260 poles,
- Jeti-Oguz Electric Networks – 263 poles,
- Ton Electric Networks – 543 poles,
- Cholpon-Ata Electric Networks – 314 poles,
- Tüp Electric Networks – 229 poles,
- Balykchy Electric Networks – 282 poles.
The completion of the installation of reinforced concrete poles is scheduled for the end of November 2026. The production of the poles will take place at the enterprise's factory in Balykchy, which has been operating since 2017.
It is worth noting that in 2025, more than 1500 wooden poles were already replaced with reinforced concrete ones in the region.
These measures are aimed at improving the reliability of electricity supply and reducing the number of emergency situations.
