Khabib Nurmagomedov, a member of the UFC Hall of Fame, has sharply criticized video games, expressing dissatisfaction with the fact that young people spend their best years on gaming.

“If you are my brother, I will break your computer. How many people have lost their best years from 17 to 27 in front of gaming screens? By engaging in sports, you become healthier. Playing video games changes your mindset. They teach you nothing; I am a staunch opponent of them,” the publication Sherdog quotes him as saying.

Nurmagomedov emphasized that real sports and discipline are more important than the virtual world, noting that one can achieve success in life even without a title. At the same time, in his opinion, gaming creates only an illusion of achievements.

Khabib's last fight took place in October 2020 at UFC 254, where he defeated Justin Gaethje in the second round via technical submission (triangle choke), finishing his career with a record of 29–0.
