The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has decided to block porn sites. This became known from official government sources.
The resolution was signed by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The purpose of the document is "to ensure information security and protect citizens, including youth, from unacceptable content," as stated in the government's message.
It is worth noting that measures of responsibility for storing, viewing, and distributing information with pornographic elements have already been introduced in Kyrgyzstan. The corresponding law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh and signed by the president.
